Accidentally Left My Comfort Zone for 10 Months
Life’s weird.
I took a detour that tested me and forced me out of my comfort zone.
I got a “real job” at the beginning of 2021 because I needed something to make me leave my house and interact with people. It started as a regular full-time job but I didn’t have a lot of responsibilities and it was fun!
I was still getting all my copy work done and had time to spare. But, over the course of time, I got promoted to assistant general manager and then general manager. I was suddenly working 55+ hours per week at this place that was just supposed to help me get out of the house!
I stopped writing my emails. I nearly stopped writing anything because all of my time and energy went into this job.
A couple weeks ago, I put in my two weeks because I was burnt out and I missed my old working from home lifestyle -- and I missed writing!
Working there was an invigorating and exhausting challenge. I had no idea that I would grow so much as a person and find myself in such a leadership role. So I don't regret it.
Long story short, I wrote less but now am available to write more! I couldn’t be happier to be back to writing full time. That’s my wheelhouse. It’s where I am in my comfort zone and where my creative talents shine through.
I would be so appreciative if you could share my name with anyone who needs content written. In fact, anyone who signs up before Black Friday will receive $1000 off a new website package!
It’s my way to get back into the content scene while also helping new entrepreneurs get started.
