Hey There!

I’m Grace. Most days you can find me in different corners of my house typing (very aggressively) away on my laptop.

I am mostly known for my cool name but unfortunately, I’m not a pet detective.

I’m the nerdy version of the next best thing-- a copywriter :)

People often refer to me as Joel’s wife since he’s the outgoing one in this relationship. I’m an introvert, as most work-from-home peeps often are, so I don’t usually like to leave my house for long periods of time and God forbid talk to people.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not shy! I have opinions — and I’ve found that each year I get more and more boisterous (not sure if that’s a good thing or not yet). Luckily, my outspokenness comes in short spurts — then I’m ready to go be alone in silence again.

Writing-wise, I specialize in writing website content for small businesses so that they can be found on the internet. This includes one to five page websites and SEO-centric blog posts.

If you have any questions for me about my services or you just want to chat quick, I’d love to hear from you.

I’m grateful you’re here!

I have always been passionate about words, although it took me years to figure that out. I remember being about four years old and following my mom around as I read books to her. Then, being six, seven, then eight years old and getting over 100% (and a sticker!) on every spelling test in school because I always spelled the extra credit word correctly. Then, being in middle school and writing an encyclopedia of animals with my friends after school (yeah, that happened) and getting praise from my teachers when I had to rewrite the words of a song for an extra credit project.

I also had a secret.

I loved when we were assigned to write essays! I didn’t dare tell anybody because I was trying to not totally drown in my nerdiness and kill all my chances at being cool. But I loved doing the research, making outlines, and then writing and editing an essay. My friends would procrastinate and stay up late the night before the paper was due in order to crank it out. Meanwhile, I had mine done weeks in advance. Back then we had to print out our essays and I loved how clean the final project always came out. A mess of notes and highlighting turned into a piece of art.

Like most MILLENNIALs, I SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THE INTERNET.

It kills me to see a good brand make basic branding mistakes on their website.

When a business spells words incorrectly its professional image changes. Suddenly the expert looks flawed and their credibility plummets.

I serve brands that struggle with connecting with their audience through written words.

I’m lucky to be able to work behind the scenes and provide brands with professional content on their website and in the blog posts they publish. It’s so necessary that your voice is cohesive and makes sense across all your platforms.
